If you’re looking for a fun day out with your dog in Northamptonshire, Bark in the Park is well worth adding to your diary. Taking place in Rushden on Sunday 6th September 2026, this popular charity event brings together dog owners, local businesses and charities for a relaxed day of competitions, shopping, food and entertainment.
Organised by Rushden Town Council, Bark in the Park has become a popular fixture in the local calendar. Whether you’re entering one of the fun classes or simply looking for a dog-friendly family day out, it promises something for everyone.

Although we haven’t been to Bark in the Park ourselves yet, it certainly looks like one of those events that’s easy to spend a few hours at. With plenty going on throughout the day, it’s a great excuse to get out with the family, meet other dog owners and enjoy everything the event has to offer.
