Pawsome Pooch is returning to Clarks Village for a full weekend celebrating all things canine.
Taking place on Saturday 12 and Sunday 13 September 2026, the dog-friendly shopping outlet will host a weekend of free activities for dogs and their owners, including professional pet photo shoots, pampering, trick training, agility sessions, quick-fire dog sketches, pick ‘n’ mix treats and more.
New for 2026, Pawsome Pooch will also include a dogwalk, a CEO Hall of Fame and Pawfect Match, giving single dog owners the chance to pick up a free red bow for their dog and perhaps sniff out a potential match.
What’s happening at Pawsome Pooch?
- CEO Competition: Professional pet photo shoots, with a free digital image and automatic entry into the competition to become Clarks Village’s next CEO, or Canine Executive Officer.
- Pawfect Match: Single owners can pick up a free red bow for their dog and let their pooch help find a potential love match.
- Tricks and agility: South West dog trainers Passion for Pets will host trick and hoopers agility sessions, along with demonstrations.
- Pampered Pooch: Somerset grooming studio About the Dog will offer free spruce-ups, including paw-dicures, face trims and a spritz of dog fragrance.
- Pet Paw-traits: Illustrator Alan Snow will be creating quick-fire dog sketches, with charitable donations encouraged for Guide Dogs.
- Dogwalk: A fashion-inspired dogwalk where dogs can strut their stuff in style and collect treats from the pick ‘n’ mix station.
- CEO Hall of Fame: Past and present canine CEOs will unveil their paw-fficial portraits for the new Hall of Fame.
The search for the next Canine Executive Officer
One top dog will be crowned the next CEO of Clarks Village, which stands for Canine Executive Officer.
The winner will receive a prize package worth up to £500, including shopping vouchers, dog toys and treats, and vouchers for Clarks Village restaurants and retailers.
The shortlist will be revealed on Clarks Village’s social channels after the event, with a public vote to choose the ulti-mutt winner.
Dog-friendly shopping at Clarks Village
Clarks Village is an outdoor shopping outlet with wide paved walkways, landscaped gardens and shady spots, making it a popular destination for dog owners.
Dogs are welcomed across much of the outlet, with water bowls available throughout and selected cafés and restaurants also welcoming canine visitors.
