Dock Diving UK is home to the UK’s only competition-sized dock diving pool, giving dogs of all breeds and abilities the chance to swim, build confidence and enjoy one of the world’s fastest-growing canine sports.
Located in rural Northamptonshire, this purpose-built facility welcomes everyone from first-time swimmers and nervous dogs to experienced dock diving competitors. Whether you are looking for a fun private swim, gentle low-impact exercise, specialist dock diving training or a unique day out with your dog, Dock Diving UK provides a safe and supportive environment.
Every dog is different, and sessions are designed to help each dog progress at their own pace. The focus is on confidence, enjoyment and safety, with experienced staff available to support both dogs and owners in and around the water.
Dock Diving UK was founded by Holly, whose lifelong passion for dogs led to a career in boarding, daycare and dog training. Inspired by her own Portuguese Water Dogs and a desire to introduce more people to the sport, Holly created a welcoming facility where dogs of all abilities can safely enjoy swimming, training and making a splash.

What is dock diving?
Dock diving is a canine sport where dogs leap from a dock into water, competing for distance, height or speed. It provides physical exercise, helps build confidence and can strengthen the relationship between dog and owner.
Regular swimming and dock diving can support cardiovascular fitness, muscle strength, healthy weight management and mental stimulation. It can be suitable for many breeds and dogs at different stages of life, depending on their health, confidence and ability.

We had a fabulous afternoon. Ted – (Shih Tzu cross) needed a bit of persuasion but Angel (German Sheppard) absolutely loved it.
Holly was great with the dogs and helped getting Ted into the water.
Back from our first session with our 2 labradors – absolutely loved it! First time properly swimming for both of them, let alone jumping off a ramp. One of my labs was more nervous and ‘scattery’ jumping in and out the pool in the wrong places initially but the staff quickly got in the pool with him and calmed him down and coached him. can’t wait to return!
We had a amazing experience this morning at Dock diving never done it before
We were made to feel welcome and very safe and by the end of the session our dogs were swimming thank you so much. Will be booking in on a regular basis.
